Flakies nail art

Today I'll show you a simple and really fast to do flakies manicure. I started with two coats of Sephora - Black lace on all nails and then applied some latex peel off tape around my nails to prevent the mess from the next step. This is a great product and really helps a lot with the clean up proccess. Then, using a sponge, I applied the flakies nail polish I have from Sweet Color which I can no longer link you to, but I found some similar polishes here. I finished with Seche Vite top coat on all nails. What do you think? This manicure is perfect for the times when you're in a hurry but still want your nails to look pretty!

Don't forget to also check my post on my other blog about my recent trip to Lyon.

Festival nails

As today is the first day of UNTOLD festival from Cluj-Napoca, I decided to create a festival themed manicure. I started with a coat of Madam Glam - Snow white on all nails and then I created the gradient using Rimmel - Too cool to tango and Rimmel -312 Ultra Violet. Then I stamped the designs from Born Pretty's BP-77 image plate using black stamping polish. I finished with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

If you'd like to see more pictures from Untold festival, I posted an article about it on my other blog: Untold 2017 in 10 pictures.

Today I'll show you a blue mix and match manicure. As base colours, I used Rimmel - Too cool to tango and Rimmel - Sky high.On my thumb, index and middle fingers, I stamped the design from Born Pretty's BP-L003 stamping plate, using their white stamping nail polish. On my index finger, I added some Shimmer Polish - Jenny glitter and on my pinkie I added some rhinestones. I finished with clear top coat on all nails for extra shine. What do you think?

Ice cream nails

Today I'm participating in a nail art challenge with some other amazing girls and the theme is ice cream. For this manicure, I started with two coats of nude nail polish and then I stamped the design from Konad's m57 image plate with a darker brown so as to create the ice cream cone effect. Then I painted the ice cream globes using a thin brush. For my thumb, index finger and pinkie, I used Rimmel - Sweet retreat and for the rest of the nails I combined China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle and some Love Charlotte nail polish. Finally, I added some sprinkles and them clear top coat. What do you think?

Don't forget to check out the other girls' manicures, they're all pretty!

Born Pretty Holographic Powder

Today I'll show you my new sparkly manicure I created with Born Pretty's holographic powder. I started with one coat of Sephora - Black lace on all nails and then I applied the powder.

You can see that there's a little brush - exactly like an eye make up brush - to use for applying the powder on the nails. It's easy to apply, but the effect is not so breathtaking like the chrome powder I told you about here. The final look is ok in both cases, but I needed more product to achieve this look, compared to the chrome powder which was perfectly opaque after applying just a small quantity of product.

I created the unicorn using this sheet of nail vinyls. After applying the vinyl, I applied the powder and then removed it and got the little unicorn. Finally, I applied clear top coat on all nails. What do you think of the final look? Have you tried the nail powder yet?

A new project

Hi, everyone! As you can see in the title, I just strated a new project. Ever wondered what stays behind all mai nail art pictures that were photographed on the beach, for example?

Now it's time to find out more about me, as I just started a new travel blog! I just posted my article on Touristish and I'd love to know what you think about it! As I'm just at the begining with it, I'd very much appreciate if you could follow it and maybe leave a comment and let me know what are your thoughts about the article. Would you like me to change anything in the way I write them? Is it too much, is it too little? Your opinions are really important for me.

For example, you can find the story behind these two manicures I wore during my trip in Thassos, which I wrote about here. Please go and check it out!

Yellow roses

Today I'll show you my new vibrant manicure that matches the hot season we're in. I wanted something colourful and I went for a combination of orange, green and yellow. I started with two coats of Rimmel - Tangerine Tent and then I created my own decals using Born Pretty's BP-73 stamping plate.

I started by stamping the design with Born Pretty's Black stamping nail polish and then let the image dry on the stamper. I used El Corazon - Matte Effect #145 Neon and Rimmel - Daisy days to fill in the flowers and leaves. After it dried, I applied some clear top coat and then unstuck the decal from the stamper and stuck it on my nail. I finished by applyimg clear top coat on all nails to seal everything in. What do you think?

Baby showers

What other moment is more magical than that when a baby comes to the world? He's a precious gift that will bring a lot of happines to everyone's lives. We are all expecting him to come and start celebrating, because that's what baby showers are about. We want to find the best gifts and sometimes this is not easy, if we crave for perfection. Lately, I've been looking a lot for gifts for my friend's baby shower and thought to share some of my findings with you.

First things first, I found this cute little journal which is a place to write about pregnancy and the first year of the baby's life. If I were pregnant, I would definitely want something like this, as I like writing a lot and I think it's a great way to have a memory with the most unique experience in life.

Then here's "Messages for you", something for the baby to read while growing up. Inside there are beautiful envelopes for each message. It can be a great gift from a mother, an aunt or a grandmother.

I think every mother is obsessed with taking pictures of her child and a great way to keep the best ones in one place is a pretty photo album.

In the end, here's something funny for the parents. 'Single, Married, Kids' measures wine glasses. I found everything on Gifts less ordinary and there are many more awesome gifts ideas.
What's your idea of a perfect baby shower gift? I'd like yo read your's in the comments.

Chrome nail art powder

Today I'll show you my summery chrome manicure I easily realised using Born Pretty's nail art powder. I started with a coat of black nail polish on all nails and let it dry. Then I applied the powder (colour 684) using a small eyeshadow brush that came together with the powder. It's unbelievable how well the powder sticks to the nail and how pigmented it is. Then I applied clear top coat to seal it in and spent some hours admiring it. I decided to also apply some sea shell stickers as the colour of my nails reminded me of the sea. Then I applied some more clear top coat. What do you think? Did you try the chrome powder yet? If not, believe me, you HAVE TO!

Feathers nail art

Today I'll show you my new nude nail art with coloured feather details. I started with two coats of Maybelline Colorama 303, which is my new favourite nude nail polish and then applied some water decals from Born Pretty store. I finished with clear top coat on all nails. Really fast and easy to do and also eye catchy. What do you think?

In the second picutre of my nails you can take a glance at the Avram Iancu square from Cluj-Napoca.

Hair loss and hair extensions

Hair loss is an extremely discussed subject nowadays. It is a common process for men, but when it happens to women, things are much more delicate. Our hair tells a lot about us and about our health. We want it to always look perfect, don't we? But the most terrifying thing is when you realize your thick hair is no longer like it used to be and there's noting you can do about it. You try regenerating shampoos, solutions or even oral drugs but they don't always work as expected, especially when your problem is genetic or hormonal.
Lately, hair extensions have become a solution. You can choose tape in hair extensionclip in hair extensions or micro ring hair extensions and they are all quite easy to use once you exercise a little.

Kristen Stewart, the actress from Twilgiht, used to have a serious hair loss problem on the basis of stress. But the truth is that whether we are a public figures or not, we always try to find remedies and seek for ways to improve our appearances.

I came across Best hair store, a website selling hair extensions that are made of 100% human hair. There you can find plenty of designs and colours to  match your natural hair. I also saw some ombre hair extensions which I think is quite awesome for those who want to be fashionable.

If  hair loss is not something you confront with, then you are really lucky! Still, you may want to wear hair extensions to make your hair look longer and prettier at an important event or at a party this summer. No matter the reason, I think they are really cool and worth giving them a try! Maybe you have always dreamt of gorgeous, long hair, but yours just won't grow how much you'd like to. Now's your chance to make your dream come true.

The deep purple dress

When spring comes we all begin looking for new fashion items so as to renew our wardrobe and start fresh the new season. I for one start wearing brighter colours and floral prints in opposition to the winter when I tend to dress in dark colours. But this year something changed and I made a passion for deep purple dresses. Even though it's a dark colour, I still feel like I'm moving on from winter and I see a match with the spring. I'll share with you some of the items from my wishlist. Please let me know what colours inspire you this spring - maybe they'll be my inspiration, too!

Plus size fashion items

I'm always talking about the latest fashion items I find on different websites and sharing my wishlists with you, but never quite mention the oversized items. So one of my readers recently asked me if I could recommend a website selling plus size sexy dresses. I did a little research and in the end I decided to present you some items from FashionMia.
Our bodies are in all kind of shapes but we are all beautiful, no matter the size we wear. We just have to know what to wear to be advantaged. So here are some of my suggestions. The way I see it, one of the must have items is the bodycon dress for plus size

Studded french manicure

Today I'll show you my new spring french manicure. I started with two coats of Golden Rose - Color Expert 101 and then created the white tips with Madam Glam - Snow white. I applied some coloured studs from Born Pretty store on my ring and index fingers and finished with clear top coat on all nails for a beautiful shine but also for sealing in the studs. What do you think?

Trends in 2017

Today I'd like to talk about some trends that were definitely a thing in 2016 and still are on 2017. Firstly, there was plenty of lust on keratin hair treatments and keratin hair straightening but there are still many of us who haven't yet tried it. Long, shiny, straight and manageable hair are every girl’s dream. Keratin is a protein that actually is part of our hair and  the daily exposure to pollution, hair products with harmful chemicals and blow drying tend to damage it. Keratin therapy helps regain that lost elasticity and health of your hair. I came across a really interesting article regarding this topic and you can read more about keratin treatment here
Your Ultimate Guide for Keratin Treatment

Another trend I really like is the crochet one piece swimsuit. Chloé Dunlop launched a few crochet bikinis in 2012 and they are so popular right now. You've seen them on Vogue, on the beach, anywhere. They're a proof that the best ideas are the simplest ones.

I was just looking on StyleWe and found some really pretty ones, check them out. On their website, I also found some sexy birthday dresses
Buy them here.
